3 Must-Have Products for Fall & Winter Wellness

It's fall y’all, and for me that brings the incredible display of color here in Colorado, pumpkin spice everything, and crisp mountain air mornings. It also brings back to school and the Petri dish of germs that come with it! Don’t get caught unprepared, and stock up on these 3 staples for fall wellness.

One thing I've learned on my journey of wellness, is that I don't need to dread this time of year, I just need to be well equipped.

I'm an all natural plant based kind of girl, so here's the essentials I keep in my home in preparation for the Fall/Winter season, and all the gifts they bring. Fall wellness is so much easier with these items on hand!

  1. Oscillococcinum - Homeopathic medicine for flu-like symptoms. Each dose is a small tube of tiny little tabs that taste sweet (my kids have no issues taking it!), and helps to reduce duration and severity of symptoms associated with the common cold & flu. I can easily find them in my local grocery store in the Natural health department.

2. Thieves EVERYTHING

It's honestly hard to pick just one thing from the Thieves product line, so I'll give you my top 3!

Thieves Cough Drops: My FAV! I never run out of them. They are so soothing to the throat, relieve coughs, and cool the nasal passages. Bonus: they taste really good!

Thieves Waterless hand sanitizer: it kills 99.9% of germs, will not dry out your hands (thanks plants!), and the denatured alcohol is derived from peppermint. They also come in handy wipes.

Thieves Essential Oil: I love diffusing this oil because the scent of cinnamon, clove, and eucalyptus are what fall dreams are made of! Plus, it's giving my immune system a powerful boost.

3: Dr. Teal's Unscented Epsom salts

Make sure you get the unscented ones to avoid any perfumes. I always keep Epsom salts on hand for detox baths. I typically do 2 cups Epsom salts, 2 cups baking soda, and add 4-6 drops of an essential oil like Frankincense, Lavender, or Valor.

Don't be afraid to sweat it out in a detox bath. The whole point is to help the body get rid of built up toxins. I promise, you'll sleep like a baby after!

While we can’t outrun everything out there (we’re not robots after all!), we can have things on hand that will help us boost our immune systems, and care for our bodies through the whole season. These are just a few of the side kicks I always have on hand, and it’s just so easy to keep them stocked and ready.

As the season begins, make sure you’re stocked and ready too!
